Best Wigs for Your Face Shape Part 2

Finding out what your face shape is will help you determine what wig will best suit your face. In the last article, Best Wigs for Your Face Shape Part One, we looked at the best style wigs for those that have diamond, heart, and oblong faces. For those that have another type of face shape we will cover it in this article. The remaining face shapes would be:

• Oval
• Square
• Pear
• Round

Oval

An oval face would be one that is longer rather than wider. These would be those that have a jaw that is narrower than the cheekbones. Those that have this face type are able to use almost any wig that is out there and look great.

Square

The square face shape would be one that has a wide hairline and jaw. You would be looking for the best wigs that are able to add height to the top and narrow at the sides. Generally you will want to look for a curly wig that is long or mid-length. You will want to avoid wigs that are all one length.

Pear

The pear face has narrow or small forehead areas and a large jaw line. Those that have the pear face have one of the least common face shapes out there. You will want to look for the best wigs that add volume from about your eyes to the crown of your head. Generally the classic shag hair style looks great on you. You will want to avoid wigs that are jaw length or any type of blunt cut.

Round

The round face shape has a wide hairline and fullness just below the cheekbone area. You will want to find the best wigs that are able to add height if possible. You will want to look for wigs that are in a linear and geometric style. You will want to avoid any wig that adds width.
